How to Have The Confidence to Share Content on Social Media

THE FOLLOWING IS AN ADAPTED TRANSCRIPT OF THE PRECEDING VIDEO HOW TO HAVE THE CONFIDENCE TO SHARE CONTENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Do you believe you have a purpose?

I have people that come up to patting me on the back me for the content that I create. They admit they’d love to do the same but don’t have the confidence to share content on social media. Or, they want to share content but don’t know what to share. I want you to know two things. One. I’ve been where you are. In fact, worse. I was insecure and scared of my own shadow. When I started out, I was dealing with rejection issues.  Back then, I didn’t want anyone to know I existed, let alone start engaging with the world on social media. But even if you’re scared, share content anyway.

Two – every single one of us has a purpose in life. That is my belief. I also believe that if you have a desire to share content to impact others, that is a clue to your purpose. So if you have a dream and you’re too shy or scared to live that dream you’ve lost, and that should scare you.

All you need is a story to tell. Next, you must develop the confidence to share content on social media. Share that story through your content and you can build a new life for yourself.

Look, too many people are letting the thoughts in their mind run wild and control them. You have to change the narrative in your mind. It is so important for you to take control of your thoughts and think of the things that make you win. If you tell yourself that it’s scary to share content or that you don’t know what to create, you won’t create anything. And to me, that is a huge shame. If you have a dream, why would you let fear control you? Fear separates the weak from the strong.

When you have confidence, you can have a lot of fun. And when you have fun, you can do amazing things.

The opinion of others is not the truth

True story. I’m a pretty daring person. And, I’ll do things that scare me or even embarrass me. I’m willing to try new things out so that I can see whether it will work or not. Having no friends for a long time at a point in my life has made it easier for me to do this, I suppose. I’ve had self-rejection, feelings of being unliked, and I have had to build myself up from that. There were times during that period that I would have to go out of my comfort zone.

Have you watched my elocution video? Imagine having a strong cockney accent one day, take an hour elocution lesson in the evening and then going into work the next morning speaking like you were part of the royal family. Not only did I do that, but I also behaved as if it was perfectly normal to do so. When I opened my mouth to speak I heard the sniggers, and the snidey remarks but I didn’t let that put me off.

In spite of the ridicule, I knew that those people wouldn’t live my life for me. It was me who wanted the change, so what they thought of me didn’t matter. I had poor enunciation and was not confident in how I sounded. Not bowing to their opinions means I can speak clearer now, not perfect or posh but better. In fact, I’m confident about what comes out of mouth no matter how it sounds – cockney or otherwise.

If you have a message, you need to get your mind right and tell yourself just like Obama, “Yes, you can!”Have the confidence to share content on social media.
